Both men have
a similar heritage. Although he's not Poise like the Pope, the Pope's
mother is Slovac just like Gene's. Even the Pope's cousin is amazed
at the similarities. He once told Gene, "Although you're 6 years
younger, you not only look like him but you act just like him."
Both men are Catholic,
however Gene has been married for 53 years and has three grandchildren
living near him in Southern California.

in the exact same size!
Gene has had the

official letter of permission from the Vatican. He's appeared in 16
